The instrumental version of “Hold My End Up” in Gun Play is used by permission from Delta Spirit. The complete song appears on the indie rock band’s 2014 Dualtone album, Into the Wide. Delta Spirit’s personnel are Matthew Logan Vasquez (vocals and guitars) — Vasquez grew up in the Texas Hill Country — Kelly Winrich (keyboards, programming, guitars, percussion, lapsteel), William Mclaren (guitars), Johnathan Jameson (bass) and Brandon Young (drums, percussion). In addition to their albums, Ode To Sunshine, History From Below, Delta Spirit, Into the Wide and What Is There, Delta Spirit’s music can be heard in episodes of the TV shows Friday Night Lights, Sons of Anarchy, Grey’s Anatomy, The Walking Dead and American Dad!
