The Big Deal: ‘Mrs. Haggardly’ At Ochre House Theater

by Mia Estrada 5 Feb 2020 1:32 AM

Ochre House Theater presents the world premiere of “Mrs. Haggardly,” written and directed by Artistic Director Matthew Posey. The play is set at Mrs. Haggardly’s Home for Wayward Children, an orphanage on the outskirts of the Great Brutal War, where the drums of war draw closer and closer each day. To resist the soldiers coming near the orphanage and recruiting the children, Mrs. Haggardly and her companions Madame Pigslips and Mrs. Busybottom use their wiles against the pillaging fascists. The war brings challenges to Mrs. Haggardly and her companions who must feed, clothe, and protect the orphans. The show runs from February 8 through February 29. Enter to win a pair of tickets to the February 15 performance.

After signing up here check out our other Big Deals for the week. Sign up for a chance to see the Northeast Orchestra of Tarrant County Celebrate 30 winter concert or the Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas Sing into Spring concert at the Meyerson Symphony Center.
