The Big Deal: Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Presents Dvořák’s New World Symphony

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming concert Dvořák’s New World Symphony not only closes out their 2016-2017 season but will also mark the final performance of Vadym Kholodenko as the orchestra’s Artistic Partner. Kholodenko, the 2013 winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, will perform Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 – completing his performances with the symphony of all five of Prokofiev’s piano concertos. In addition to Dvořák’s New World Symphony included in the program will be Shostakovich’s pyrotechnic Festive Overture. Performances run May 12 through May 14 at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. Be the lucky winner of this Big Deal and receive a pair tickets to attend the May 12 concert.
