To close the 2016-17 season, pianist Vadym Kholodenko performs Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3–a work known for its soaring lyricism and spiky dissonances–for his final concert with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra as Artistic Partner.
Also on the program, Dvorák’s much-anticipated Symphony No. 9 (“From the New World”) and Shostakovich’s pyrotechnic Festive Overture.
