- Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment, which granted women the right to vote at Claiming Our Place In Politics. The event is being held at the Belo Mansion and features film clips about women who contributed to the cause and a panel discussion with State Representatives Rhetta Bowers and Victoria Neave.
- Head to Texas Woman’s University in Denton for The Power of Books: Inspiring Hope and Fighting for Social Justice. The free lecture features New York Times bestselling author Angie Thomas, whose book, “The Hate U Give” was turned into a major motion picture and TWU alumna Rose Brock, an award-winning author, and editor who co-founded the North Texas Teen Book Festival.
- The Women’s Chorus of Dallas performs Travelin’ Voices tonight at Moody Performance Hall. The concert is the sixth annual celebration of women composers for Women’s History Month.
