Kitchen Dog Theater hosts the New Works Festival at Trinity River Arts Center in Dallas. You only have the next three Saturdays to see new plays by up-and-coming writers.
Also on Saturday, mixed media artist, Jessie Budd explores identity in the digital age with a new exhibition at one of the final shows this year at CentralTrak. The show is a piece of a larger exhibition at the UT Dallas Artists Residency art space in Dallas.
On Sunday, head to Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts in Arlington to hear Texas music legend Flaco Jimenez and Los TexManiacs’ Grammy-winning Tejano groove.
Finally, imPULSE dance project celebrates the closing of the modern dance company’s 5th season with performances on Saturday and Sunday at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.
