Will Rogers Memorial Center

The Will Rogers Memorial Center is a multi-purpose entertainment complex under 45 acres of roof, spread over 85 acres in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District. The Will Rogers Coliseum was erected along with the auditorium and Landmark Pioneer Tower in 1936, the year of the Texas Centennial. Largest of all the buildings, the coliseum was the first domed structure of its kind in the world. The 2,856 seat auditorium has hosted a wide variety of talent including Jack Benny, Benny Goodman, Glen Miller, The Vienna Boys Choir, and the Rolling Stones. Each year approximately 800,000 people attend the three week event known as the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show.
