Owner, Josh Florence isn't just the owner because you can normally find him slinging drinks with the rest of his staff. The two story bar sits nicely with two stages (one down and one up)for those great live bands that pop in Wed-Sat. Take a breath of air, sip your drinks, and watch the people as they go by while sitting at one of our outside tables. Whether it's a weekday or weekend the City Tavern stands alone...with it's historical building structure complete with high backed booths and hardwoods it can easily take anyone back to a time where a "bar was a bar." The owner has the attitude of making this the most welcoming bar in Dallas.
