Are you worried about the state of journalism, especially at our local level? Are you missing diverse coverage that you consider important and relevant to your community or the larger society? Do you believe inclusive journalism is not just necessary to stay informed but also to promote civil society?
If you said yes to any of the above, there’s a more important question: is there anything you can do about it?
Join us on March 28th at The Wild Detectives backyard for a goal-oriented workshop addressing these and other issues related to journalism and what we can do to fill the gaps we see in coverage of our own communities.
The goal of the workshop is to spark change and take some action. Everyone is welcome. We’ll examine the impact of journalism in society and what can we do to make it better at a local level. We’ll talk, share ideas, and work together for what can be done next.
