Granbury, Texas Hosts Harvest Moon Festival of the Arts

Festival-goers can enjoy art, live music, food and more

This Historic Granbury Square is alive with art October 21-22

The Harvest Moon Festival of the Arts in Granbury, Texas promises to be a weekend full of artful adventure for the whole family. During the event, you can purchase original art on display from more than 75 artists from around the country including Sante Fe. Meeting the artists, and learning more about what inspires them to create, is one of the hallmarks of this annual tradition that keeps visitors coming back each year. The Granbury Arts Alliance and the Historic Granbury Merchant's Association support this 39 year-old popular arts festival.

The fun will begin on Saturday with booths on the Historic Square including fine art, contemporary works, sculpture, glasswork, and handcrafted jewelry, among others.

There will be plenty of hands-on fun for children, as well. There will be four make it-take-it project booths for mini Renoirs to create masterpieces to display or wear.

There is also a quilt show taking place on October 20 from 10-5 p.m. and October 21 from 10-3 p.m., showcasing the work of the Granbury Quilters Guild at First Presbyterian Church.

Throughout the weekend, you can enjoy the sounds of local entertainment, and feast on food from food booths throughout the Square.

You may want to enjoy the many shops, boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants in close proximity to the festival. The Granbury Opera House also has performances on both festival days.

Saturday, October 21, 9-7 p.m.
Sunday, October 22, 10-5 p.m.
