Artists Enclave and UNT on the Square present a one-time stellar event, MENAGERIE featuring Denton artists celebrating the majesty of animals in music and art on Sunday, September 10th, 2 pm. - 5 p.m., UNT on the Square, Denton. MENAGERIE features musical works by accomplished composers. Selected 2D & 3D visual works representing or inspired by animals complement the musical performance and will be available for purchase. Companion Animal Hospital is the community partner sponsor for MENAGERIE which is open to the public with no admission fee.
S. Andrew Lloyd's "Three Prayers from the Ark" and Andrew May's "The Twittering Machine" are part of the afternoon's program with additional compositions by Arsentiy Kharitonov and Paul Thomas.
Guest performers are Arsentiy Kharitonov (Piano), S. Andrew Lloyd (Piano), Andrew May (Violin), Elizabeth McNutt (Flute), Orlando Scalia (Bass Clarinet), Paul Thomas (Accordion) and Jennifer Youngs (Soprano).
