BAM! It’s a Picture Book: The Art behind Graphic Novels celebrates the art and literature of graphic novels. Toured by the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature (NCCIL) in Abilene, it features several of today’s leading graphic novelists, featuring illustrations from Mark Crilley, Matthew Holm, Jarrett J. Krosoczka, Lincoln Pierce and Raina Telgemeier. The exhibition showcases artwork from such iconic books as "Baby Mouse," "Big Nate," "Lunch Lady," "Brody’s Ghost" and "Smile."
