Party on the Porch features live music by hometown artists, kicking off at 6:30 p.m. with the self-styled “AmeriTonk” sound of the soulful country artist Summer Dean. She is followed by the Matt Tedder Trio, whose music blends classic rock, blues, and modern folk. Headlining the event is Green River Ordinance with their sound of country, rock, pop, and folk. Local food trucks, lighting effects on the building, screenprinted T-shirts, lawn games and a special area reserved for Amon Carter members are back by popular demand. Beer and wine will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Gallery and museum store hours have been extended until 9 p.m. Docents will be on hand giving tours, and artmaking will also be offered. Free parking is available at the UNT Health Science Center lot and east garage on Clifton Street.
