On June 20, The Spazmatics perform as part of our FREE Music at the Bandshell concert series.
Legend goes, in 1983, Kevin Stigwood, a physics teacher at Alta Dena High in Thousand Oaks, California, lost a debate to a student. As a result, Stigwood performed "She Blinded Me With Science" by Thomas Dolby at the state basketball championship game with a band he organized with his brother, Curtis, Sidney Baderman and Rusty A. Woosmeir. The Spazmatics were born.
Hey, it's a good story.
