A Missouri native who made his debut nearly 50 years ago while living in California, Dana Cooper retains a strong following in these parts thanks to his longtime collaboration with fellow singer-songwriter Shake Russell in the ’70s and ’80s. Five years after his last album, Cooper returns with “I Can Face the Truth.” The new album is a great introduction to Cooper for those who don’t know his work.
