Pirates on the Prairie IX

Uptown Theater - Grand Prairie

Ibidis Mortem Productions is proud to present Pirates on the Prairie IX, the pirate music concert that will appeal to the inner buccaneer in everyone, taking place Sat, February 8th, 2020 at 6 p.m. at the Uptown Theater in Grand Prairie, TX.

The concert will feature the Official Pirates of Grand Prairie, the Bilge Pumps, in an event that will have everyone talking (like a pirate) as they combine nautical songs, sea shanties, and Celtic music with a huge dose of silly comedy.

The show also features D/FW's own Skeleton McKee! This talented Celtic band was voted by the Dallas Observer as one of the top 10 Irish-themed band in the Metroplex and features and all-star lineup with former (and current) members of Jiggernaut, the Trinity River Whalers, Beyond the Pale, and the North Texas Caledonian Pipe and Drums.

It will be an evening of nautical nonsense and swashbuckling fun for the whole family with not only music and comedy on stage, but caricature artists and face painters in the lobby before the show and during intermissions.

The event will take place at the Uptown Theater, located at 120 E. Main Street in downtown Grand Prairie. Lobby doors will open at 5:00 p.m., theater doors at 5:30, Skeleton McKee starts at 6:00, then the Bilge Pumps at 7:15.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 5-12 and can be purchased in advance securely online at our Treasure Island page or by calling 214-415-9563. They can also be purchased at the theater just before the concert.

Each ticket purchased in advance is worth one entry into our drawings for cool prizes. The prizes include:
- 4-pack of tickets to the Scarborough Renaissance Festival
- Pair of tickets to the Lone Star Pirate Festival
- A one-of-a-kind rum bottle wind chime made by our own Jack the Rum Runner
