Do you enjoy Art Conspiracy every year? Well, even though it’s a fundraiser, it takes money to put it on, too. To that end, ArtCon holds a seed event every year to earn said money.
This year’s is called RZN8, and it will go down Saturday at Life in Deep Ellum. Music from Datahowler, Home By Hovercraft, Spookeasy and Kirby Brown. Specialty drinks. And of course, plenty of art. Every year for the seed event, ArtCon gives artists an item, and asks them to have their way with it. This year, it’s speakers. More than 30 artists have created works using different kinds of audio speakers. They will be auctioned off at the event.
Tickets are $10, but four lucky Big Deal entrants will win a pair of tickets each to the fun.
