The Big Deal: Prokofiev & Beethoven Presented By The Richardson Symphony Orchestra

by Gila Espinoza 20 Mar 2019 1:32 AM

This week’s Richardson Symphony Orchestra Big Deal is all about two giant composers, Prokofiev and Beethoven. The concert begins with Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony. Premiered in 1918, this piece pays homage to the great Classical symphonists, especially Mozart. The spotlight will then shine on RSO Principal Cellist Eugene Osadchy, who will play the Suite for Cello and String Orchestra by American composer Clare Fischer. The program concludes with Beethoven’s celebrated Symphony No. 4 in B Flat Major. Enter this Big Deal for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the one-night-only concert on April 6, at the Eisemann Center in Richardson.

After signing up below, we invite you to check out our other Big Deals this week. Enter for a chance to hear My Kind of Virtuosity presented by the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth at the Modern Art Museum. If your whole family enjoys music then enter to win family tickets to the Fort Worth Chorale spring program at either their Fort Worth performance or their Arlington performance.
