This year marks the 10th anniversary of 3rd Thursday Jazz presented by the Fort Worth Public Library. To celebrate, FWPL is hosting dozens of programs and performances throughout the city for adults and children.
The 3rd Thursday Jazz concert on September 19th at the Fort Worth Central Branch Library will feature Terri Lyne Carrington. Jazz drummer/singer/composer Carrington is a three-time Grammy Award winner. For this intimate concert, she will perform selections from Money Jungle: Provocative in Blue, her tribute to the seminal 1963 album Money Jungle recorded by Duke Ellington, Charlie Mingus, and Max Roach.
The 3rd Thursday Jazz concerts are always free. However, win this Big Deal and your 3rd Thursday Jazz experience will include a pre-show meet & greet, four swag bags, four front-row reserved lounge seating for the show, plus a $50 dining gift certificate from Del Frisco’s Grille in Sundance Square.
