- The Sid Richardson Museum in Fort Worth has one of the most focused collections of Western art in America. Head to the museum in Sundance Square to see works by Frederic Remington in “Altered States.”
- Drive further west in Fort Worth and you’ll find Fort Works Art has a new solo show by local artist Hillary Dohoney called “adrift.” The exhibition features painted interpretations of refugee experiences.
- The Dallas Museum of Art unveils works painted by Edward Steichen, better known for his photography. The seven large murals of underwent conservation treatment this summer and have not been seen in more than 100 years. See “Edward Steichen: In Exaltation of Flowers.”
