- On Saturday, Irving’s Bear Creek Heritage Center hosts a Juneteenth Celebration featuring gospel singing, funk music and an exhibition of paintings by Dallas artist Guinn Powell.
- Sometimes, classical music can seem intimidating. Opera On Tap wants to change that perception. They’re taking the music out of the concert hall and bringing it to the people. Head to Lewisville Public Library to hear some of opera’s best-known pieces and little known-pieces in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
