- Kitchen Dog Theater presents its annual one-minute play festival at SMU in Dallas. You can take in 84 plays by 42 local playwrights starring 60 local actors. That makes a jam-packed night of theater.
- ‘Legacy’ is an exhibition of 42 classic paintings depicting the conflicts in the American West in the 19th century. See at the Sid Richardson Museum in Fort Worth through Sept 30.
- Tonight is your last chance to catch ‘Magic of the Night.’ It’s a one-man show by magician Rudy Reynoso presented by the Sherman Community Players. Reynoso developed the show to highlight the more than 70 years the Sherman theater company has been around.
