Finding Rothko

Take down all your “Lost Rothko” signs – Adam Schoenberg seems to have found the missing artist in his four movement piece titled Finding Rothko. This brilliantly colorful piece is inspired by the works of painter Mark Rothko.

You get to be the principal flute of the Boston Symphony by being a flute rockstar! Marianne Gedigian did just that. Now, she’s professor of flute at the University of Texas and guest soloist on Silver Lining, a new flute concerto by Dallas native and one of today’s most popular composers for band, Frank Ticheli.
