The Chancel Choir and orchestra will present Mozart’s Requiem conducted by Dana Effler.
Mozart’s final masterpiece features a setting of the Requiemtext that highlights the genius composer’s musical brilliance. Composed on Mozart’s deathbed in 1791 and shrouded in mystery the Requiem has become one of his most beloved compositions. Our performance by the Chancel Choir and professional orchestra will feature soloists Rachel Ratcliff, Elise Whitmire, Will Whitmire and Tim Johnson, and is offered with humble praise and thanksgiving for Jesus’ sacrifice for us as we begin this Holy Week of remembrance.
