In the Saturday Spotlight, we’re checking out a couple of funky neighborhoods. The Cedars neighborhood south of Downtown Dallas is holding its Open Studios event. You can meet the artists, see where they work and maybe even take home some art. The Deep Ellum Outdoor Market also takes place on Saturday. Spoken word artists will perform and vintage jewelry, baked goods, homemade soaps and other items will be sold by the people who created them.
