Young Audiences of North Texas

Young Audiences of North Texas (YANT), a program of Big Thought, was established in 1987 as the 32nd chapter of the national Young Audiences network. Since its founding, YANT has presented workshops, performances, artist residencies, and master classes to more than three million children in the North Texas area.

Young Audiences of North Texas programs range from the classic western disciplines – including classical music, and theater – to culturally specific programming that reflects and educates the diverse community the organization serves. The current roster of artists includes more than 55 interactive performance programs and nearly 100 hands-on master classes and residencies. This breadth of distinct programs allows YANT to meet the needs of teachers, librarians, child care providers, parents, and other educators – those people who select our programs to benefit the children that they serve.
