The Flame Foundation and Dallas Flamenco Festival

The Flame Foundation educates and promotes knowledge, skill, and appreciation of the performing and visual arts to children and adults in Dallas. Our primary focus is in Flamenco dance, music, and its history.

"Flame brings the art of the ages to the families of today." Inspired by a vision to bring flamenco to a wider audience, The Dallas Flamenco Festival was launched in 2009. The festival features high-quality flamenco performances and workshops lead by professional visiting guest artists. Since 2009, The Dallas Flamenco Festival has received international acclaim with interest from many professional flamencos from Spain and around the world, providing performance and training opportunities for flamenco aficionados in Dallas.

With the support of Ochre House Theater, the Office of Cultural Affairs, and our generous patrons, The Dallas Flamenco Festival has grown exponentially. In addition to the flamenco workshops and classes, the festival now features children and adult student performances lead by professional flamencos and a theatrical flamenco collaboration with Ochre House Theater.
