Denton Black Film Festival

The Denton Black Film Festival is a five-day event that brings together some of the best artistic showcases of Black storytelling. Built around amazing cinema, the festival is unique from many others in that it also features music, spoken word/poetry, art and more. Held each January, each festival shares these stories – including traditions, ideas and experiences – in a multitude of ways. It’s our way of bringing the African-American experience to life and letting our guests #ExperienceCulture for #DBFF19. This year’s event takes place Jan. 23-27,  2019, in Denton, Texas, which is located just outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
