The Lakewood Library Friends is a 501c3 non-profit organization which supports the Lakewood Branch of the Dallas Public Library by purchasing materials, supplies and furnishings, and by sponsoring and promoting events at the library that enrich the community. It raises monies through membership fees and the Annual Book Sale, held in conjunction in September with LibraryFest.
