First UMC Concert Series includes several free musical programs each year. Childcare for ages 5 and under is often provided for these events and is free of charge. Call the church office to request childcare if you are planning on attending. (972-625-1281)
Our concerts span a wide variety of genres including jazz bands, praise and worship bands, Classical pianists, vocal groups and more. We also have an annual community Messiah Sing Along which is a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season.
In addition to our Concert Series, we offer music every Sunday during our regular worship times: 8:30am and 11:00am Sunday mornings. The Chancel Choir sings at our 11am service and at both services on the first Sunday of every month typically. Our Chancel Choir also presents two cantatas each year - one in mid December and the other on Palm Sunday.
