Ray Roberts Lake is a 30,000 acre recreational lake with ample opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Metroplex.

At Johnson Branch you can play for the day at our swim beach, barbecue at one of our dozens of picnic areas that overlook the pristine waters, or fish at our accessible stocked pond.  Bring your bike to test your skills on the DORBA mountain bike trail or your kayak to get an up close and personal view of the harriers, hawks, and ospreys hunting in the quiet grassy coves. Learn about flora and fauna on a nature hike with our award-winning Interpreter. Stay with us for the weekend; with 170 campsites, we can accommodate your tent, your RV, your motor home, or your family reunion!
