Southern Methodist University - Umphrey Lee Center

The Umphrey Lee Center houses the offices of Communication Studies, Film and Media Arts, Journalism, and the Temerlin Advertising Institute. Students have access to numerous Mac labs outfitted with Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and iNEWS for editing and graphic design. The Cinema-Television rack room houses film production equipment, including a new suite of JVC HD cameras. In the Belo Journalism Complex, students write and produce their own news broadcasts and convergent media websites in professional television and radio studios.
