Kathleen's Sky Diner

Robert and Kathleen Ellington opened their restaurant on Lovers Lane in 1988, originally named Kathleen's Art Cafe. They displayed local artists works, but as the business evolved they could no longer keep up with the ambitious schedule. After 20 years, the cafe was transformed by changing the atmosphere to an urban style decor with an open air patio. The food is even more eclectic and trans global, reflecting the Ellington's travels and food experimentation over the years. Hence the new name Sky Diner. Now boarding..... Look for their next endeavor.... Fin, a seafood restaurant. Kathleen's Art bakery, next door, still has the mile high cakes, luscious pies, brownies, and breakfast breads. We catering all events and are considered one of the most creative event planners in Dallas.
