Genesis Children's Theatre prides itself in quality productions in an intimate space.  All shows are done on an black box, thrust stage without vocal magnification. This creative space encourages audiences to lose themselves in the story.  Because of this, Genesis is a great way to introduce your children to the theatre experience!  With less than 100 seats, even the youngest of children will enjoy being up-close to the actors and part of the action as an audience member.

Whether your child is just beginning to explore theatre or is a stage veteran, GTC will take them to the next level in their craft. We have exciting programs and productions for students ages 5-18 led by a professional staff with unequaled experience. Genesis uniquely prioritizes mentorship, one-on-one coaching by the directors, professionalism in rehearsal, and community. To accomplish this, casts are kept small and all roles are single cast. Actors are encouraged to bring individual creative choices to the development of their characters.  We view theatre as a vehicle for learning responsibility, cooperation, and self-confidence.
