Urban Crust

The vision of Urban Crust began with Bonnie and Nathan Shea's purchase of 1006 East 15th Street in Historic Downtown Plano. As longtime area residents, they wanted to bring to Plano a restaurant and bar that embodies their passion for excellent Italian food and great times.

Through a mutual friend, the Shea's met and partnered with Salvatore Gisellu, a World Master Chef and native of Sardinia, Italy. Salvatore and his wife Jeanne-Marie also owned Daddy Jack's Wood Grill in Downtown Dallas. The four partners shared a vision of bringing to the metroplex the largest hand- crafted wood burning oven to turn out the finest pizza, steaks, and seafood prepared by Chef Salvatore. This will also be the only 30 foot long, frozen rooftop bar overlooking downtown Plano. The dining experience inhabits the historic W.R. George building built in 1896. Put in the creative hands of CYA Design Collective, Cal Young melded a new architecture and interiors with its' past and our present. The original life of the building, a harness and saddle establishment, has been reinvented by the introduction of a hip, urban restaurant and bar concept brought to the eastside neighborhood.

This original vision comes to life as Urban Crust Wood Fired Pizza and 32 Degrees Rooftop Bar. We bring to you the finest imported Italian ingredients, local organic herbs and greens, in-house hand-crafted mozzarella for our authentic pizza and the freshest meats, all served by our personable staff to make your experience in our restaurant exceptional.

So please come in. We created this unique dining experience for you. And when you come please ask for us by name!
