Denton High School

Denton ISD is one of the fastest-growing school districts in North Texas. It is located at the tip of the "Golden Triangle," which includes the cities of Dallas, Fort Worth and Denton. The Denton Independent School District has been committed to providing an exemplary education for its students since it was founded in 1882. The district prides itself on being a "student centered" public school system by keeping its schools smaller to provide stronger individualized instruction. The district encompasses almost 180 square miles and currently includes three comprehensive high schools, six middle schools, 20 elementary schools, advanced technology complex, early childhood center, alternative high school, and other specialized schools and centers.

Denton High School, in partnership with the home and community, is dedicated to the development of knowledgeable, compassionate individuals who actively and ethically contribute to the betterment of our world. By providing challenging and educational experiences that encourage cooperation, creativity and intercultural understanding, DHS aims to create life-long learners who embrace the diversity of others.
