King of Glory Lutheran Church is a vibrant congregation in North Dallas, with nearly 1,800 members from all over the North Texas area. The church offers programs throughout the year featuring music, authors, community leaders and more. King of Glory offers three different worship services on Sunday mornings:
- Traditional Worship at 8:15 and 11:00 a.m. features classical liturgical settings and music from the Sanctuary Choir with organ. - Jazz Worship at 9:30 a.m. features a unique blend of contemporary music and original jazz with the piano-led KoGnition instrumental ensemble and vocalists. - Velocity, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 10:40 a.m., is a "come as you are" worship service combining contemporary guitar-based music, media arts, drama, and Holy Communion.
The church is mission-oriented, with numerous opportunities for you to get involved helping the community, as well as strong, active programs for children and youth. King of Glory was established in 1958 and is affiliated with the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) denomination.
