Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts - Mary D. and F. Howard Fine Arts Center

Due to the demands of practicing and touring schedules, the Texas Boys Choir board of directors opened a public charter school, The Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. This school was expanded to include talented boys and girls in grades 3-12. Any student, regardless of race, religion, disability or income, who wishes to study the fine arts along with following a challenging academic curriculum, may attend. Students who attend live throughout north central Texas. This school offers classes in music, visual arts, theater, dance and instrumental music. These classes complete the whole experience of performing and visual arts for each student. Rigorous daily rehearsals, community involvement, and academic achievement define these talented young people.

The school's Mary D. & F. Howard Walsh Fine Arts Center holds regular concerts by the Texas Boys Choir and the Singing Girls of Texas, as well as other school-related arts events.
