Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth
The Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth is a nonprofit organization founded in 1970 to promote friendship and understanding between Japanese and Americans in the Metroplex. A wide range of cultural programs – from holiday celebrations to moon viewing and sake tasting – highlight unique aspects of Japan, both traditional and contemporary. The Society also presents lectures by distinguished scholars, authors, and business leaders, and organizes exchange programs between Dallas and Sendai, International Friendship Cities since 1997. Our Japan-in-a-Suitcase program introduces Japan to more than 5,000 elementary students each year. JASDFW further serves as a source of information about Japan-related activities and resources in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
