Irving Archives and Museum
Irving Archives and Museum (IAM) is an exciting new 22,000 square foot museum on the first floor of the Jack D. Huffman Community Building.
At IAM, visitors will discover Irving's history and culture through a dynamic and immersive exhibit, The Irving Story. Nationally traveling exhibitions and temporary displays change frequently - there is always something new to see.
The IAM is also the first museum in Texas to feature a Smithsonian Spark!Lab where young visitors and their families step into the role of inventory in a hands-on interactive laboratory.
The Irving Archives at IAM includes documents, photographs, maps, films, oral histories, and artifacts. Available for exploration and research by appointment.
Visitors can also find out about other sites and places to visit in Irving, including our three other museums: The Ruth Paine House Museum, The Jackie Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center, and the Mustangs of Las Colinas.
