Craft Guild of Dallas
The Craft Guild of Dallas was founded in 1948 to provide instruction and studios for artists and craftspersons', while also providing a place to exhibit and promote their work. We are a non-profit organization, which is supported by the contributions and talents of our members. The Guild regularly offers six sessions of classes per year, in bookbinding and paper-arts, clay and ceramics, glass, jewelry and metals, beading and wire-wrap, painting and drawing. We also hold additional workshops, for members or non-members, featuring guest artists teaching specific techniques in various craft disciplines. Summer Camps are offered June through August for Kids 5-12 and Teens 13+ in painting, clay, glass, and more. Please check our website for our newest class and workshop brochure with dates.
Our on-site gallery displays member and instructor works for sale, which is open during office hours. We also hold a large fundraising Show and Sale twice a year, in early November and May, which features unique works created by our Guild members and instructors with an opening reception that is free and open to the public.? Check out website for dates and times.
