The Campus Theatre is home to the Denton Community Theatre. The building was built in 1949 and originally housed a movie theatre. It was closed in the 1980s and renovated in the mid 1990's. Today it is Denton's Performing Arts Facility. Other Denton performing groups such as the Music Theatre of Denton and Tejas Storytelling also call the Campus Theatre home.
