Hallam Family Concerts: A Tragic Genius

Dallas Museum of Art

Tchaikovsky’s epic masterpiece for violin, cello, and piano takes center stage this month, in a touching tribute to the teachers of Jolyon Pegis, DSO Associate Principal Cello; and DSO violinist Shu Lee, who performed this same work when they were college students.

Hallam Concerts are on Saturday afternoons at 3 p.m. and last roughly an hour. They are completely free of charge and open to all ages. Most programs are followed by CODA: a moderated post-performance dialogue with the musicians.

Hallam Family Concerts are generously sponsored by Fanchon and Howard Hallam. We are grateful to them as well as to many others who give of their time and resources to make our concerts a reality. Your contributions help us keep these concerts free for all.
