Dog Days of Denton

Dog Days of Denton is celebrating 26 years as Denton’s most original festival for pooches and their people. During festival hours, attendees can enjoy a canine couture fashion show, live entertainment, “Glamfur” photos, hand-crafted arts/crafts for pets and people, pet care products and information, general products and services for your home and pet, pet rescue groups, fantastic festival foods, and there’s more.

Demos and performances by canines and their trainers, in addition to contests you can participate in, abound at the event! Some of the usual highlights include: contests like the Canine Couture Costume Contest, Pet Tricks, Dancing with the Dog Contest, How Obedient is Your Dog, and Dog Singing Contests, as well demos by dog ‘n disc. Don’t miss your chance to try the agility course or the Canine Lure Course ($5/course donation going to Leader Dog Project). Attendees are welcome to bring pet food donations for the Denton Animal Shelter and drop them off at the Information Booth.

A signature for Denton, Dog Days is a fun and entertaining day welcoming friendly dogs and their owners. For everyone’s safety, all dogs must remain leashed and owners must provide proof of current vaccinations. Owners are responsible and liable for their pets.
