An impromptu afternoon road trip for a couple of photographers has turned into a life-changing observation of the abandonment of small town Texas. 4,000 miles and the many towns along the way, as well as the people that lived in them, have guided this project. What is left speaks to those that created it. What is left is their evidence. Bones of Texas is an expression of the abandonment of our small-town Texas past.
Reception this Saturday, 9/28 from 3-5 p.m. with an artist talk at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Exhibition on display through Oct. 31.
