More than 80 watercolor and water media paintings will be on exhibit starting Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, at the Eisemann Center in Richardson as part of the Southwestern Watercolor Society’s 56th Annual Member Exhibition. The exhibit will run through Saturday, Sept. 28, and is open to the public.
The exhibit will feature all types of watercolor and water media painting, from abstract to realistic, landscapes to floral, portraits to animal. Most of the paintings will be for sale. Artists in the exhibit hail from the DFW region, Texas and around the nation and were chosen from 412 entries.
ABOUT SOUTHWESTERN WATERCOLOR SOCIETY
Dallas-based Southwestern Watercolor Society (SWS) was formed in 1964 and has more than 400 members. SWS is one of the largest and most notable watercolor societies in the nation. For more information, go to www.SWSwatercolor.org.
The public may view the exhibition for free any time during the Mezzanine Gallery hours, which are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or any time during public events. The Eisemann Center is located at 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson.
Juror for the show will be internationally recognized artist Vlad Yeliseyev. Winners will be announced on Sept. 22.
