Join social practice artist AnaliseMinjarez in a Terra Cotta Pinch Pot workshop! Minjarez will lead students in creating up to three pinch pots from clay. Participants will contribute one pinch pot to the ongoing "Estrella Tierra" installation by Minjarez. "Estrella Tierra" is sculptural installation that is inspired by the migration and immigration stories of individuals and families into the United States.
Workshop will take place at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center on Friday, September 6, 2019, from 6pm - 9pm. Admission is FREE, but must be registered to participate.
