Storms can be scary, especially when they seem to come out of nowhere! Join us to celebrate Heard's new weather station and to explore the reasons for our summer-time pop-up thunderstorms.
This event will also feature our new 4-foot diameter Magic Planet digital global display as it illustrates the night sky in a whole new way. Family-friendly activities will be included. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks or picnic to enjoy at designated areas during the event.
$19/non-member; $16/Heard Museum Members* (Age 3 years through adult). Pre-registration is required for this event. Click here to register.
Closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bug spray are recommended. Participants will be outdoors for at least an hour. Children ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
