Self Service: Twenty-Five Years of Fashion, People and Ideas Reconsidered is a multi-installation survey assemblage of visual information and documentation of the boundary-pushing publication. Since its inception, co-founder and Editor-in-Chief Ezra Petronio has emphasized the design of the biannual magazine as a vehicle for experimentation in photography, typography, and editorial design. From the large-scale production wall, billboard-scale pages from past issues, and unique photographs by contributors to videos of past photographic history, the exhibition embodies cool and contemporary communication, and feels as if one is stepping into a current issue of the magazine.
