Shakespeare in the Garden at MVC

Join us for a perfect summer night under the stars! The MVC Theatre Department proudly presents "Two Gentlemen of Verona" live from the MVC Garden of Learning. This is our college's version of Shakespeare in the Park and it's totally free for everyone to attend. The Garden of Learning is located just outside the E Building by the Performance Hall. Actors and signs will guide you to the appropriate location. Feel free to bring blankets, food, and lawn chairs for a family-friendly good time.

Play synopsis: two best friends, Proteus and Valentine, travel to Milan where they both fall in love with Silvia. Silvia loves Valentine, but Proteus pursues her despite the fact he has a girlfriend at home. After an apology, Proteus and Valentine reconcile, but Proteus loves his girlfriend again and both couples marry.
